There are festivals, dances, ceremonies, processions of worshippers carrying rice, flowers and other offerings as they walk to the many temples scattered all over the island.  There’s a continous motion of people preparing for worship; in this small island contained in a land the size of 3,200 sq km only.

 

As Indonesia’s economic and political woes continues, Bali remains safe, due to its tourism strong economy and its culture.  The majority of the population here are Hindu.  Their unique heritage was laid down by the Javanese Hindu rulers when they first moved to the island.  All the elements are here for a vacationer’s paradise.
